English practice #5-6

lalalala. yesterday I had really good mood. I met my friends and we listen to English music during thirty minutes I guess. we sang it together and record it for ourselves.

today I decided to watch some movies from my childhood and chose one called "Now you see me". it's about four "horsemen" — magicians and illusionists that were united by one person. they robbed banks and gave money for people but FBI didn't like that.

and of course, I have some words from this movie

loophole — an opportunity to legally avoid an unpleasant responsibility, usually because of a mistake in the way rules or laws have been written

presto (just a fun word) — said when something appears or happens so quickly or easily that it seems to be magic

salt-of-the-earth — very good, honest, and reasonable, and not thinking you are special in any way

rapscallion — a person, especially a child or a man, who is dishonest or causes trouble, but who you often still like

glory days — Someone's glory days are a period of time when they were very successful

grump — someone who is easily annoyed and complains a lot

benefactor — someone who gives money to help an organization, society, or person

tomorrow will be another post, just wait for it
