Um, it’s 2026. Last year was uneasy. Can you imagine that just one year ago I was preparing for my exams, going to school every day, and hoping to study at a cool university? I can’t, really. I feel like it was yesterday.
I’m still in a New Year’s mood. These holidays were too short. I want more holidays, but to my dismay, I have to leave my hometown and go back to studying.
At the end of December, I was afraid that I wouldn’t be in my hometown for New Year’s because I had some troubles, but fortunately, I’m now writing this post in my warm bed and my younger brother is watching as I write it. Sometimes he asks me to translate what I write.
On New Year’s Eve I was with my family. We watched Harry Potter, cooked delicious food and then we realized that we’d forgotten buy sparklers. My dad went to the shop extremely fast and of course, he bought it. On that New Year I was like Santa Claus putting presents for the whole family under the Christmas tree while they watched fireworks outside.
After midnight, I went to my friends, and we had fun together, sharing presents and singing Christmas songs. It was marvelous to see my friends again. We told each other stories about our student life and showed interesting pictures. By the way, I showed them my blog, and they were really impressed.
During the other days, I spent a lot of time with my family and friends. But of course, I didn’t forget about studying and did some homework assignments to be free on the last days of the holidays. It didn`t help me... I still have to do a lot of assignments.
I have so many emotions and memories about the holidays. It seems like it all happened in one day because time passes so fast. I already miss this place, despite the fact that I’m still here.
I send greetings from Soligalich to everyone and wish you all a happy 2026.
